Alveare

ALVEARE: Textile design applied to Et Voilà system, presented to “Salone del Mobile” 2013. Producted by Lago S.p.a. The hexagon is the basic form for the general geometry, and the result is a module consisting of these hexagonal cells repeated, where “full” and “empty” interwine, creating a complex structured texture, conceived on several levels: background, general design, fillings. The proposal consists of a plot that, although repeatable and seamless, changes at every step of the module thanks to the inclusion of “empty” segments which literally break the geometry of departure .

L’esagono è la forma di base per la geometria generale, e il risultato è un modulo costituito da queste celle esagonali ripetute, dove “pieno” e “vuoto” si uniscono, andando a costituire una texture dalla struttura complessa, ragionata su più livelli: background, disegno generale, riempimenti. La proposta è formata da una trama che, pur essendo ripetibile, cambia ad ogni passo del modulo grazie all’inserimento di parti “vuote” che spezzano letteralmente la geometria di partenza.
